Everyday to Glam

Want to spicy up your everyday makeup look? The golden rule to taking any makeup application to the next level is (drumroll please) highlighter and red lipstick.

No matter how little time I may have in the morning I make the effort to fill-in my brows. They frame your face so show them some love. I use Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara.
Color corrector. OMG color corrector!  Who has time to conceal under eye dark circles everyday. Concealing can be a nightmare when you’re pressed for time so I often skip it all together. LA Girl Pro Color Corrector in the shade Orange is perfect for canceling out under eye dark circles and camouflaging blemishes for my skin tone. Don’t frate my lovelies they also offer a green and yellow corrector, ideal for fairer skin tones.
Word of caution: A little goes a long way so use it sparingly.
I dust a little DermaBlend Warm Saffron setting powder everywhere I placed the color corrector to keep it from creasing.
Mascara is a step that simply cannot be skipped. Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is my all-time favorite. This mascara makes my lashes look extremely voluptuous. Trust me I have tried many, to include other Too Faced mascaras, and all pale in comparison.
I have been obsessed with matte lipstick for the past few months. Colour Pop Ultra Matte lipstick in the shade Creeper stays all day without touch ups. This bluish-red shade is absolutely perfect for everyday without being too dramatic. This shade transitions from work to night-life without a hitch.
Highlighter is the icing that tops the cake.  A little on my cheek bones and the inner corner of the eyes adds that touch of extravagance to a simple makeup look. Milani’s Baked Bronzer Glow No. 4 adds the perfect golden shimmer without looking ashy on my skin.
With a few extra steps and affordable products glamorous makeup is achievable. All it takes is a little effort that really goes a long way.
Until next time, loves.
